On Sunday I spoke in church, and I just have to say that I am so extremely blessed. I have such wonderful people in my life. My family came from Utah, Arizona and Temecula to be there. I also had so many friends come as well. It means so much to me to have all this support behind me, cheering me on. Honestly, it helps so much.
Then on Tuesday, I had the wonderful opportunity to enter in the Temple in Newport Beach. Since I live my life worthily in the eyes of my Heavenly Father, I was able to enter The House of The Lord. I live the Word of Wisdom, I am honest with my fellow people, I pay an honest full tithe, I keep the law of chastity and I have a testimony of this gospel and of my Savior Jesus Christ.
Although not always successful, I try my best to emulate Christ's example in hopes that others will see my happiness and light and wonder how they can have this happiness in their life too. Joseph Smith taught "I teach them correct principles and let them govern for themselves." I know that I may not fully convert anyone to the gospel, but I can at least be an example of a person who believes in a loving, forgiving Savior, and one who tries their hardest to follow Him.
The Holy Ghost has born witness to me countless times that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Jesus Christ's restored true church on Earth. I know the Book of Mormon to be the Word of God. I have felt the spirit burn truth in my heart, and I will not be quiet anymore. I am now headed to Houston Texas to teach the people who are willing and ready to have truth in their lives. And although I may not know any Spanish and will struggle just to speak, I know that the Lord will show me His enabling power as long as I ask and have faith in Him.
Thank you so much to everyone! I love you all so much and am so blessed.
